Q1: What is a terrazzo workshop? 

In our terrazzo workshop, participants learn how to create 2 beautiful art pieces using a combination of handmade chips and stained glass. It's a fun and creative way to express yourself while working with your hands!

 

Q2: How many pieces can I make during the workshop, and what are they?

You will create two beautiful pieces! The first piece is a tray, which serves as a warm-up project to get you familiar with the materials and techniques. For the second piece, you can choose to make either a vase or a vessel, allowing you to personalize your creations based on your preferences. Get ready to unleash your creativity!

Q3: Will I be able to take my creations home?

Yes! You will be able to take your finished pieces home with you at the end of the workshop, allowing you to showcase your creativity.

Q4:  Are your materials non-toxic?

Yes! Our terrazzo workshop uses non-toxic materials, including our powder, which is zero VOC (volatile organic compounds). This ensures a safe and healthy environment for all participants. 

Q5: What materials will I need to bring?

We provide all necessary materials. Just bring your creativity and any personal touches you'd like to add!

Q6: Can I customize my project?

Absolutely! You’re encouraged to customize your projects with your choice of colors and materials to make them truly unique.

Q7: What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little messy. We will provide an apron to help protect your clothing, so you can focus on enjoying the creative process!

Q8: Is prior experience required?

No prior experience is needed! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, and we’ll guide you through each step of the process.

 

Q9: Can I bring a friend or family member to help me?

Participants are encouraged to bring a friend or family member to join the workshop! Just be sure to register them in advance, as space is limited.

Q10: Can children participate in the workshop?

Yes! Children aged 14 and older are welcome to join our workshop. We recommend that an adult accompany them for assistance and support throughout the creative process.

Q11: Do you offer virtual workshops?

We plan to introduce virtual options in the future. Stay tuned for updates!

Q12: What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, so here’s our cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation Timeline & Refunds:

    • More than 7 days before the workshop: Full refund, minus a small administrative fee of $2.90 (2.9%) + $0.30 to cover transaction costs.

    • Less than 7 days before the workshop: 50% refund.

    • Less than 48 hours before the workshop: No refunds are provided, but participants can transfer their spot to another person if they notify us.

  • Workshop Cancellation by 61tones:

    • Full Refund: If we cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, all registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule or receive credit toward a future workshop.

  • No-Show Policy:

    • No Refunds: No refunds are provided for no-shows, as your spot was reserved and materials were likely prepared in advance.

  • Flexibility for Emergencies:

    • Case-by-Case Basis: In cases of emergencies (e.g., illness, family emergencies), we can offer a partial refund to balance compassion and business needs.
